THE NEW AVENGERS: Dead Men Are Dangerous (Sidney Hayers: Spring 1977)
Beaconsfield Cricket Club, London Road junction with Minerva Way, Beaconsfield - John Steed (Patrick Macnee), Gambit (Gareth Hunt) and Purdey (Joanna Lumley) relax off duty playing a few cricket strokes. Between them they christen the ‘purdka’ and Steed notices a strangely familiar figure in the distance.

E14: Malders Lane brickworks, Pinkneys Green, Berkshire (redeveloped): Bert Brandon (George A. Cooper) ends up at this deserted brick works. As does Purdey.

Action before this saw Purdey riding through Middle Assendon, Oxfordshire

Unknown 2: Bert Brandon (George A. Cooper) is ambushed by Roach (Gary Waldhorne) and Poole (Rowland Davis) and is killed. Purdey (Joanna Lumley) arrives to find the car in pieces. Mike Gambit (Gareth Hunt) is not far behind in his Range Rover.

Unknown 3: Mike Gambit (Gareth Hunt) and Purdey (Joanna Lumley) go to the village of Neverton in the range Rover to interview Frank Turner (Roy Marsden) at his farm. They meet Mrs. Turner (Maeve Alexander) who points them towards her husband. When they find hi he is being interrogated by Roach (Gary Waldhorne), Poole (Rowland Davis). After a quick skirmish Frank Turner is rescued and Roach and Poole run off.

Neverton was Chalfont St. Giles

Unknown 6: Roach (Gary Waldhorne), Poole (Rowland Davis) hold Purdy (Joanna Lumley) for ransom in a quarry. Mike Gambit (Gareth Hunt) and Steed (Patrick Macnee) have to use their wits as they don’t have the contents of the mysterious box.

This could be Gerrards Cross Sand and Gravel Quarry, Wapsey's Wood, Oxford Road, SL9 8TE, as seen often in DOCTOR WHO.

Unknown 7: Frank Turner (Roy Marsden) attempts to take of in his crop duster plane, but Mike Gambit (Gareth Hunt) jumps on to the wing of the plane to prevent it taking off.

This plane was probably based at White Waltham Airfield

THE NEW AVENGERS: The Eagle's Nest (Desmond Davis: April 1976)
Kyleakin, Isle of Skye: John Steed and Purdey go to the highlands and tallk to a local fisherman. They watch as Monks from St. Dorca arrive to collect supplies.

Milton, Applecross: As they talk to a local fisherman they watch as George Stannard’s body arrives in a small boat. John Steed (Patrick Macnee) arrives at St. Dorca in a motor boat looking for accommodation. Purdey (Joanna Lumley)arrives on the island under water and leaves her wet suit on the shore.

Camustiel, Applecross, Strathcarron: George Stannard (Brian Anthony) is pursued across St. Dorca by Karl (Frank Gutliff) and Hara (Sydney Bromley) using fishing rods as weapons, he is able to get to a motorboat, but Karl is able to catch him on the cheek with a poison hook as he leaves the harbour.
